2008 DYNA-MITES SPRING

SKILLS & GAME PROGRAM

Features:

3 Skills Clinics - 3/17, 3/24, 3/31 at 6PM-to-7PM (ALL)

12 Half ice practices - 4/7/08 to 6/23/08

6 Intra Squad Full Ice Games - 4/18/08 -to- 6/27/08

1 Game Jersey (Light Weight Spring Jersey)

The Program runs March 17th at 6pm to June 27th, 2008.

Players will practice on Monday nights in the Spring on either the 6pm slot or the 7:10pm slot.  The games will be be played on Friday Nights at 5:25pm starting April 18th.  There will be no playoffs or scores kept, the games are to help enhance the development of the DYNA-MITES.

The practice sessions will be broken up by age, and the games will have the teams broken up by ability to keep an even level of play.

2008 SPRING INFORMATION

Ages: Players born 2000, 2001, 2002  2003

JMG Rink Management is offering a new program for young skaters who have some skating experience.  You must be enrolled in LTS or LTP during the Dynamites season, to reinforce the on-ice practice sessions.  This Atoms level program will be coached by Paul Caron, Chris Gratton, Mark Smith & Jeff Grable as well as a few other experienced coaches to help develop our core players together in a controlled 1/2 ice enviroment. Players in Spring Skills program are encouranged to attend the Summer Druhzba '78 camp exclusively for Dyna-mites at a discounted price.  ($50 dollar savings off of camp)

DYNA-MITES will focus fun, puck work, playing rules and team work.  The USA Hockey Mite Skills Progressions will be followed mixed in with the Mitron Hockey Development Program.  Each player must wear full equipment and be dedicated to development.

DRUHZBA '78 JUNE CAMP

For our season finale the DYNA-MITES this year can particpate in the "DYNA-MITES Only" Druhzba '78 June Camp taught by Ivan Provilov.  This camp is during the final week of our Spring Skills & Game Program to send the players off to a two month break before our next season begins in September 2008.  This camp runs Monday through Friday and will have the following schedule.

12:30PM-1:00PM   Dry Land Training

1:00PM - 1:45PM   (Dress for Hockey)

PHILOSOPHY

DYNA-MITES is designed to teach a young group of aggresive hockey players in a team environment.  This core will develop together having fun and building friendships along the way.  The final goal is to have a cohesive team of core individuals with similar birth years.
