FREESTYLE is a skating period where anyone with Learn to Skate, former skating club or current skating club member from any rink can use our ice sessions for to develop there skating skills or to get more freestyle practice.

To develop your figure skating skills you will need a coach to work with you during the Fresstyle sessions.  You can either have a private lesson or participate in a workshop with our fully qualified instructors.  To get a coach or get involved contact Lisa Huth at 610-458-9160 x-103.  

Freestyle is open to skaters who strive to become a figure skater; compete, perform or just have fun.  You must wear figure skates or train* exclusively in figure skating.  Hockey training and hockey skates is not allowed.

On the following dates the prices change for listed reasons.

The ice time on these days are 11:45 to 1:30pm - So Low ice is 45 mins from 11:45am - 12:30pm & High ice is 12:30pm-1:30pm on these dates.  The prices for the above dates are all reduced for these Saturday's. 

2/18 - 4:10 Start to 5:50pm - Reduced 20 mins for lows and price reduced by $5.00 for lows only, highs still have same ice slots and time on this Monday.

BETTER EDGES MEMBERSHIP PRIVELAGES

SPRING SHOW:

You get to skate in front of your family and friends in a end of year show.  You may skate in different routines as a large group, small group, pair or solo.  Your family receives 10 Free Tickets to the Spring Show.  You can perform on both nights as well.

SPRING SHOW PRACTICES:

Are coached by a selected coach and is paid for by your membership fee.  That coach will run all practices, have final decisons on the show and will be present on the night of the shows to make sure it is another smashing success.

12.75 Hours of practice ice & Coaching included.

DISCOUNTED FREESTYLE:

All members receive discounted daily freestyle sessions as compared to the general public, which runs from Sept 17th, 2007 to May 25th, 2008.

INDIVIDUAL FEES: $295 - Due at joining, paid to club

• Freestyle Low ice is Alpha thru FS2
• Freestyle High ice is FS3 & Above
• All Skaters must wear figure skates*
• Monitors will have final say on ice disputes
• Rink must have proof of Better edges Membership to receive the discounted ice.
• All skaters must pay upon entering building, no exceptions
• All skaters must sign in upon entering building
• All skaters must leave the ice quickly when the horn blows to switch levels or end of slot
• Music will be played in the order that the monitor receives the music.
• High skaters do not go onto ice before the horn blows
• Coaches have music priority when in a lesson
• All Skaters must give way to anyone skating to their music.  Get out of the way and pay attention.
• Workshops will be given on the second half hour of low ice on Mondays and Saturdays
